Age of Sigmar Skeletons

 

They're kinda monopose, but I like them. They're probably not the most economical box of skeletons on the market (and there's quite a bit of competition), but I got them as a gift.

Wintersplinter

 

A model I painted up back in July, but I couldn't post it because it would be a spoiler for my Curse of Strahd group. And they ended up interrupting the ritual, so Wintersplinter was not awakened. Oh well, still a cool model.

Female Brigand

This figure was a freebie added to an order by now defunct FigurkiRPG. She's larger than I prefer my models, but I guess this one woman is a really tall brigand. If I can find a Frostgrave group she will be one of my Thieves.

The eyes came out a little more demonic than I intended.

Spellcrow Torsos - Jungle vs Blood Dancers

 

I think I got bamboozled.

I used Blood Dancer torsos from Spellcrow with Catachan bits and they didn't fit. I ordered the Jungle Guard ones and I think they're actually the same torsos but with a belt and dogtag necklace added. Either way they don't really fit Catachan Jungle Guard arms and heads.

So I guess I need other bare ones that are smaller than the old Catachan Squad box ones. They're surprisingly hard to find.

Clay Purple Worm

Unfortunately the pictures are overexposed. The purple looks great in real life. I used Amaco Smokey Merlot for the worm and Amaco Oatmeal for the base. The spots are part of the clay.

 

Die Bearer

 

My girlfriend was given this cool metal die and I decided it needed a cool place to rest. So I painted that model for her.

Mother of Mushrooms

 

Something a little different: I have been going to pottery classes for a while now and one day I decided to make a miniature with leftover clay. I aimed for a Zuggtmoy like figure. It turned out pretty well!
